Taneshia Flowers is a communications professional, entrepreneur, community advocate, and public servant whose life and career have been rooted in service, opportunity, and community.
 

A proud graduate of Scotlandville Magnet High School, Taneshia earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Southern University and A&M College and her Master’s degree in Strategic Communication from Arkansas State University.
 

Throughout her career, Taneshia has dedicated herself to serving people across the education, nonprofit, government, communications, and real estate sectors. She spent eight years working in education, helping connect students, families, and communities to information and opportunities. As a licensed Louisiana real estate professional, investor, and developer, she understands the importance of strong neighborhoods, responsible property ownership, and access to resources that help families build stability.
 

Today, Taneshia works directly with justice-impacted individuals, helping connect people returning to their communities with reentry resources and opportunities that support successful, productive lives. This work has strengthened her understanding of how the justice system can affect individuals and families long after they encounter it—and why fairness, dignity, impartiality, and access to accurate information matter at every level of the judicial system.
 

That experience is especially meaningful to her campaign for Justice of the Peace, District 4. A Justice of the Peace is often one of the most accessible points of contact between residents and the court system. Taneshia believes the office should be a place where the law is applied fairly, people are treated with respect, and residents can clearly understand the court's role and processes.
 

Her commitment to service extends beyond her professional career. As founder of Project Big Dot, Taneshia has worked to create opportunities and provide resources for young people and families in her community.
 

Taneshia is running to bring a community-centered, informative, accessible, and professional approach to the Justice of the Peace office—one grounded in fairness and strengthened by meaningful community partnerships.
